"An Island Jewel" - Daily Inspiration with Suzy

Hello Crafty friends! It's end of March already and today I have my post for Daily Inspiration with Suzy over at Laine's diary and Papermarket blog. I decided to create a frame out of packing boxes and decorate it with Graphic 45 "Tropical Travelogue" collection...

here's a closer look on the details...

To create the frame look I used several strips from a packaging boxes then I covered it with patterned paper from G45, fussy cut all the images from the pps (as always!) the tree, beach sign, tag, postage stamps, leaves and the flowers! Whew that's lots of cutting! But I love doing it :D And I wrinkled the "Island Adventure" note and tuck it behind the photo.

All papers are from G45 "Tropical Travelogue" collection, I added twine for the tag and some flowers from Prima Marketing to complete this project. Final size is 8.5" x 10.5"

So what do you think? I hope you get inspire today and decide to create one, please leave me a note or pictures even better when you create today I'd love to see!

Have a wonderful crafty day! :)

"Me & My Girl"

Hello crafty friends! As I promised you I have more layout to share today...

This layout and another one I'll share today was using Hot of The Press "Lucy Labels" collection kit. It's my first time using HOTP papers, I like the designs but don't like the thickness of the papers, as always I fussy cut the swirls on the corner, I used Prima masking to create the background and also Prima flowers. The bird cage is also from HOTP, it's the 3D sticker.

One more layout using the same collection...

I used the left over paper from the same collection, added doilies on the back of the photo and punch out papers for the red border in the center.

I hope y'all like my layouts today, more layouts to share tomorrow so I hope you'll come back and take a peek!

Have a wonderful crafty day! :)

Winter Wonderland layout

Hello scrappy friends! I saw lots of layouts, cards and other crafty projects that made with brand new products from last CHA all over the internet, with a bit jealousy here I can't wait to get them on my hand too! Before I'm working on the new stuff from CHA, I still have some layouts that I haven't share here on my blog. In the next few days I'll be sharing all of them one or two layouts each day, they might not using the new stuff but still I'm hoping I can give some inspiration for you to get scrappin'!

The first one I want to share were using "Winter Wonderland" collection from My Little Shoebox, though it's Spring now but I'm pretty sure some of us still keep the photos from last Winter... I did! :)

These collection from MLS is so whimsical, I love how the color match with my daughter winter's outfit! I think the photo was taken on Winter 2010, it's at our backyard. We do missed snow!! You can call me crazy but when you live in the hot and humid place like here in Indonesia you'll missed having Fall and Winter!!

As you can see I did some fussy cutting here, I also used the stickers that come with the collection and punched paper using MS puncher for the border. The banner was handmade too.

Next I have one more layout using the same collection...

If you're wondering did the shape paper come with the collection the answer is no! I did cut the paper using other shape template. And for those pink border along the edges was punched paper using another punch from Martha Stewart.

Here's for closer looks...

I used 2 different punch here, one for the page border and the other one is for photo mat. I still have some left over from the sticker packs so I used them all here. The purple trims are from Webster's Pages and alphas are from Thickers which I add glossy accents on them to get the glossy look.

That's all for today, hope y'all like my layouts keep coming back tomorrow I'll share more layouts here.

Have a wonderful crafty day!:)

Hello friends! It's my turn again to share a Daily Inspiration over at Laine's Diary and PaperMarket Singapore. Today I have a layout using Webster Pages's collection...

I always always love Webster's Pages! For this layout I used mix collection of WP papers, fussy cut on the images, added WP trims and pink tulle from my stash, punched edge paper for the border using EK success, the butterflies was using MS puncher.

The photo was taken at a photo booth at Boston Skywalk Observatory, my daughter loves to get a picture from every photo booth she saw! This is one of them, I think it's fun to scrap photo like this and love how it's turns out!

That's all for today, hope y'all love my layout and get inspire!

Have a wonderful crafty weekend!:)
